Today spent the day in Victoria itself. Visited Craigdarroch Castle. A historic, Victorian-era Scottish Baronial mansion and designated as a world heritage site. Got there first thing when it opened to avoid the crowds. After spending the morning there drove down to the water-front visited a small farmers market and wandered along Fisherman’s Wharf. Then walked down to Market place building which had lots of cute shops. Found Tin Fan Alley the narrowest alley in Victoria but were just too tired to explore and we decided to come back first thing in the morning before we drove to Nanaimo.
