On our return home from the Mediterranean cruise we stopped off in Dublin, Ireland for two days. On the first day here we took the Wild Wicklow Tour. This tour took us to the untamed landscapes of Ireland. We explored the ancient monastic ruins at Glendalough, enjoyed a ‘craic’ in a traditional Irish pub, and saw where film-makers brought a little bit of Scotland to Ireland when filming scenes for ‘Braveheart’ at Sally’s Gap.. It was a cloudy and rainy day, but the sun did struggle through a few times. Ireland is truly an Emerald Isle I have never seen such brilliant greens. All in all a great tour.
